Our cycles offer comfort no matter what the terrain. Avanti are our chosen cycle suppliers. They have used years of experience of the Otago Rail Trail to produce the ideal Trail Bike.

These cycles have comfort features for on or easy off-road riding including an upright riding position and a soft saddle. They are equipped with front fork suspension, and come in a range of sizes and models.

E-bike Hire

Our chosen supplier for our luxury Ebikes is Nelson-based Hybrid Bikes Ltd and we are proud to offer these versatile Ebikes for hire. These carbon fibre bikes are superlight weight with high performance motor, and high spec components; and with their super sprung seats and posts offer a high degree of comfort.

Our range also includes Scott (powered by Bosch) and Avanti (powered by Shimano) ebikes in both low step and standard formats and all feature front suspension and comfort seats. Typical range distance, depending on the model of Ebike ranges from 90-120 km

Ebike options include low step models for ease of mounting and dismounting. There are a multitude of compelling reasons for choosing to ride an ebike. Click here to read more.

Comfort features include an upright riding position and the option of step- through models for easier mounting and dismounting.

All bikes are 21-27 speed and are fitted with endurance tyres

Please note

Our Avanti Cycles are intended for trail riding on hard top and metal road surfaces, the tyres they are fitted with are designed for those conditions. They are not intended for off road riding as mountain bikes nor should they be used in a salty environment (e.g. below the high tide zone at any beach). Please read our terms and conditions here.
