Our Contribution to the Great Taste Trail its environs and the cycling community

From the beginning of the construction of the Great Taste Trail, the Nelson Cycle Hire team have been doing their bit, to build the Trail and helping to maintain its beautiful environment – from building boardwalks and bridges to planting alongside the trails, cooking barbecues to feed the hungry trail working parties (local Rotary Groups), and we were also involved in collecting the rubbish dropped along the trail by not so environmentally friendly trail users. The latest efforts we were involved in was the coordination and participation in Nelson Rotary clubs project to build and paint 4 new shelters on the trail.
